Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital Foundation

Founded in 1982, the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital Foundation has been fortunate to have many generous patrons who have made it possible to develop Cottage Health System into the prestigious organization it is today. The Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation which safeguards the assets of the hospital and supports a number of carefully selected health-related charitable, scientific, clinical, wellness, and educational activities, both inside and outside the hospital.

Following completion of its ambitious 5-year Capital Campaign, the Foundation has developed new philanthropic priorities to ensure comprehensive high-quality care far into the future.

Top priorities include:

Numerous naming opportunities in the New Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital are also available.

In addition, the Foundation continues to support these and many other programs:

  • Charity care
  • The Nursing Scholarship program and nursing faculty members at Santa Barbara City College
  • Reeves Medical Library
  • Annual grants to local health care and education

You can help continue the mission of Cottage Health System by making a gift to the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital Foundation in support of these programs.

Gifts may be made in a variety of forms including cash, securities, real estate, and bequests by will.

You may make a donation online, over the phone, or by mail. All gifts to the Foundation are tax-deductible.

The gift of health is priceless. Please help Cottage in our continuing efforts to keep our community healthy and safe.
