Translation And Interpreting Services



Interpreters of Spanish and other languages are available to assist patients and family members in conversing safely and effectively with physicians, nurses, social workers and other staff.



Spoken Language

Face-to-face Spanish available by advance request.


Individual departments may also have staff qualified to interpret. Qualified staff has been tested to meet Joint Commission and CHS requirements.


Telephonic Interpreters in over 170 languages through a telephonic provider, available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.


Video Remote Interpreters in Spanish (and ASL) available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.

Deaf / Hearing Impaired

Sign Language

Video remote ASL interpreters available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.

Face-to-face sign language / tactile interpreters are available by advance request.
