The Grotenhuis Pediatric Multispeciality Clinics at Cottage Children's Hospital

The pediatric clinic is the first outpatient center for pediatric multi-specialty treatment in Santa Barbara County. Specialists in pediatric hematology/oncology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, and other specialties provide comprehensive outpatient treatment for children battling cancer and blood diseases, disorders affecting the digestive system, kidney disease, pediatric infections and wounds. It also houses the High Risk Infant Follow-up Clinic, where neonatologists treat designated high risk infants recently released from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and follow their progress for three years.

The Grotenhuis Clinic has opened a satellite location in San Luis Obispo County at the Pismo Beach Medical Center in Pismo Beach.

Pediatric Gastroenterologists Dr. Drew Kelts and Helen John-Kelly, MD, are available to see patients in Pismo Beach on alternating Thursdays.

Pediatric Endocrinologists Dr. Cristina Candido-Vitto, and Marjan Haghi, MD, see endocrinology patients at the Pismo Beach clinic on the fourth Tuesday of every month.

Daniel Greenfield, MD, and David Slomiany, MD, our pediatric hematology/oncology medical team, are now available for consultation at the Pismo Beach location on the second Tuesday of every month.
