Adrian was born prematurely on March 26, 2008 at 25 weeks gestation. He weighed just 1 pound 8 ounces (690 grams) and had respiratory distress syndrome and apnea/bradycardia, all of which are normal in premature infants. Adrian was in the NICU for 3 months and 10 days. He is now a healthy, happy and very big 4-year old! Adrian’s mother, Marilu, explains why the Perez family is participating in the Cottage Kids Challenge.
