The Santa Ynez Cottage Hospital Auxiliary provides support and service to patients, families, visitors and staff. Volunteers serve in many areas, including:

Men and women of all ages are needed in almost every department of the hospital. Dedication and a desire to help others is all we ask.

Whether you are retired, currently employed or in school, your skills could make a significant difference.
Cottage welcomes Junior Volunteers who are at least 14 years of age and entering or attending high school.
A tradition of caring
The hospital's Auxiliary was founded in 1962; since then, thousands of people like you have helped Cottage in providing high quality health care to the residents in our community.
Your skills, time, smile and compassion make a difference in people's lives. Most people volunteer to be helpful to others but find the experience to be rewarding and inspirational to themselves. Volunteering at Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital is a wonderful way to support your community. Volunteering enables you to meet new people and learn new skills.

The New-to-You Thrift Shop
1689 Oak Street, Solvang
The thrift shop provides a unique and fun volunteer opportunity. It is operated by the SYVCH Auxiliary. All proceeds go directly to SYVCH. This funding has helped the hospital purchase much-needed equipment.
