From the South:
Take the 101 Freeway North, exit at Pueblo Street, turn right (toward the mountains), and right onto Castillo Street. The main entrance of the parking structure is the first driveway on the right.
From the North:
Take the 101 Freeway South, exit at Mission Street, turn left (toward the mountains), and left again at Castillo Street. The main entrance of the Parking Structure is on the left just before Pueblo Street.
Valet parking at the Bath Street entrance (see map below) to the hospital will also be available to the public for $5, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Valet parking in front of the Emergency Department for emergencies is also available.
Primary parking for patients and visitors is in the Pueblo parking structure (see map below). Entrances to the garage are off both Pueblo and Castillo Streets, designed to maximize ease of entry and exit. Parking will be free for hospital patients and their visitors through ticket validation at numerous point-of-service locations throughout the hospital, as well as in the main lobby off Bath Street until 8 pm. Patients and visitors failing to validate their parking stub will be required to pay $2.50 per hour, up to a maximum of $10.

Visitors can request validation at the Main Lobby (off Bath Street) until 8:00 p.m.
Security Escort Service
This is available for visitors leaving Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital after dark. Simply dial "0" from any telephone within the hospital and tell the operator you would like a security escort.
Bus Information
When possible, Cottage encourages you to use public transportation to and from Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Call the Metropolitan Transit District (MTD) at (805) 963-3366 for information on bus service to the hospital. Schedules are available at the lobby information desk.
Following surgery and certain other procedures, you are advised not to drive or take public transportation. Instead, you should make arrangements for a responsible adult to accompany you to and from the hospital. Consult your nurse or doctor for specific instructions.
