Every child deserves the hope and healing of children's hospitals.
With the help of a Children's Miracle Network hospital in their community, children of all ages and backgrounds can receive treatment for every imaginable disease and injury- from asthma and broken bones to cancer and heart defects.
The 4th annual Rancho Vino wine tasting and auction directly benefit Cottage Children's Hospital, a proud member of the Children's Miracle Network. The event is being organized by CoastHills Credit Union, a Children's Miracle Network sponsor.
Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children's hospitals. Donations to Children's Miracle Network create miracles by funding medical care, research and education that saves and improves the lives of 17 million children each year.
Melinda Marchiano
13-Year-Old Melinda Marchiano of Nipomo first felt an eerie weakness on a family trip to Yosemite National Park. After doctors found a rock-hard lump in her chest, she received the devastating diagnosis of Hodgkin lymphoma. Melinda was sent to Cottage Children's Hospital to undergo treatment.
Now in high school, she is academically at the top of her class and dances six days a week. As a childhood cancer survivor, she gives thanks for her life by speaking and fundraising for Children's Miracle Network, and other cancer support organizations. Melinda will be sharing her uplifting story at Rancho Vino.
