Weekends: 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

For lunch, our list of daily specials include a pork sandwich, tandoori chicken pita, or a homemade chicken enchilada. Regular menu items include creative sandwiches and salads, such as East Coast muffuletta, Caprese sandwich, and our make-your-own salad combination plate. And as the weather starts getting colder, doesn't pozole or homemade chili beans sound like "just what the doctor ordered"?
Weekday evenings from 4:00-7:00 p.m. we offer a hearty dinner such as chicken picatta or herb-roasted pork loin. All of our meals are available as take-out, so save yourself some time and grab dinner for your family after work!

And Now Offering a Weekly Farmer's Market
Every Wednesday, 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
A variety of bright organic colors now greet patrons of the Park Place Deli once a week. If you can't make it to the Farmer's Market, you can buy organic produce at the Deli every Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Part of Nutrition and Environmental Services' "buy local" efforts, since SBCH purchases locally grown organic produce for use in patient meals, the Café, Cafeteria, and Deli, it is well positioned to offer staff an opportunity to buy from the same farmer.

Ana Ortiz and Lilia Martinez display Givens Farms organic produce for sale at the Park Place Deli on Pueblo Street.
John Givens, who personally delivers his just-picked goodies, like broccoli, lettuce, bell peppers, and peaches, grows it all just down the road in local fields and farms.
"Instead of making a separate trip downtown and having to find parking, you can now buy local, organic produce here," explained Maria Svensson, Nutrition Manager. "It's one less place to go after work or during your day off."
The convenience factor is just one benefit. Buying organic produce, grown nearby, supports sustainable farming and cuts down on fossil fuel use. With food delivery distances being so great, it not only puts fresh greens on the table, but also minimizes our carbon footprint.
