DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGY RESIDENCY PROGRAM

EQUIPMENT

SBCH’s state-of-the-art Diagnostic Radiology Department houses:

  • four digital General Electric radiologic and fluoroscopic rooms
  • a dedicated digital angiography suite
  • two additional digital multipurpose special procedures rooms
  • two 64-slice and one 8-slice GE CT scanners
  • three fully upgraded Acuson ultrasound systems and one Siemens Antares ultrasound system
  • one GE 3T, one Siemens Open 1.5T and one GE 1.5T MRI scanners

PACS was installed in 1998.  The Radiology Department is entirely filmless with the exception of mammography.
