Five Pearls of Medication SafetyAn event designed to empower Tuesday, May 20, 2008 2:30 – 4:00 p.m.

Cottage Health System, a top resource for health care information in our community, announces the debut of a new lecture series called HealthWhys: Health answers for today's active adults age 55 and up.
The first lecture in the series will look at medication safety. Bruce Read, who holds a doctorate degree in pharmacy and is the Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator for Cottage, will lead the discussion on the “Five Pearls of Medication Safety.” He will share the most up-to-date information on safe practices for taking and storing medications. The lecture’s intended audience is adults age 55 and up, but anyone 18 and older is welcome.
Light refreshments will be served, and admission is FREE. Parking is available in the parking garage at the corner of Castillo and Pueblo Streets, and parking tickets will be validated for lecture attendees.
