It provides information about various forms of arthritis and rheumatic diseases. The clearinghouse distributes patient and professional education materials. The ACR seeks to increase research in the rheumatic diseases, increase federal funding for research in the rheumatic diseases, and advocate for public policy relating to the care of people with arthritis and other rheumatic diseases.
