Ingredients and Preparation
IngredientsMeasuresFresh, trimmed or frozen, cut asparagus10½ ouncesGarlic powder¼ teaspoonLime juice (lemon juice may be substituted)2 teaspoonsCanned green chili peppers, drained, chopped2 tablespoonsOnion, chopped1 tablespoonTomato paste2 teaspoonsSalt1/8 teaspoonGround cumin¼ teaspoonWhite pepper1/8 teaspoon
  • Directions
  • Cook asparagus. Drain well.
  • Pat dry with paper towels and place in blender. Add remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth.
  • Dip will become less thick upon standing and will need to be stirred.
