Ingredients and Preparation
IngredientsMeasuresRolled oats1½ cupsWater1½ cupsShredded, unpeeled apples2 cupsPitted prunes, whole or halved1½ cups (approximately 9 ounces)Honey2 tablespoonsLemon juice2 tablespoonsCinnamon½ teaspoonBananas, sliced3Oranges, segmented3Chopped almonds1 cupPlain yogurt or milk, to serve
  • Directions
  • Combine oats, water, shredded apples, prunes, honey, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • In the morning, spoon some of the muesli into a cereal bowl. Top with your choice of fresh fruits and nuts. Serve with a dollop of plain yogurt or milk, if desired.
  • Muesli can be stored in covered container in refrigerator for several days.
