Treatments for Epilepsy En Español (Spanish Version)
The goal of treatment is to control or prevent epileptic seizures. Treatment is fully or partially successful in about 80% of patients.
Medication is generally the most successful way to treat and manage
epilepsy
. Lifestyle changes and other treatments are also used. In some cases, surgery may be recommended.
