La amoxicilina pertenece a al familia del antibiótico penicilina , pero ha sido modificada para tener un espectro más amplio de efecto.

Posible Interacción Útil
Según dos estudios, la bromelaina complementaria (del tallo de la piña) puede aumentar la absorción de amoxicilina. 1, 2 Este efecto podría ayudar al antibiótico a funcionar de mejor manera.

Posible Reducción Nutricional
Existen preocupaciones de que el tratamiento antibiótico podría reducir los niveles de vitamina K en el cuerpo. Sin embargo, este efecto parece ser ligero, y solamente significativo, si a caso, en individuos que ya presentan deficiencias considerables de vitamina K. 3 – 6
