La bromocriptina reduce el nivel de la hormona prolactina al afectar la glándula pituitaria. Algunas veces es usada para tratar enfermedades en las que hay demasiada prolactina, como ciertas formas de PMS y esterilidad.

La hierba sauzgatillo inhibe la secreción de prolactina y podría tener efectos impredecibles si se combina con la bromocriptina. 1 – 4
