is open at Castillo and Pueblo.

We are happy to validate Pueblo Parking Structure tickets for hospital patients and their visitors at any of the
following locations:
• Main Lobby (off Bath Street)
• Therapy Services (ground floor)
• Outpatient Laboratory (ground floor)
• Radiology (2 Central)
• Presurgical Unit (2 North)
• GI/Endoscopy (3 North)
• Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic (4 North)
• Outpatient Surgery (Castillo at Junipero)

• Parking validation in the Main Lobby is available until 8:00 pm.

• Other locations close at various times throughout the day.

• Patients and visitors failing to validate their parking stub will be required to pay the corresponding fee. ($2.50 per hour up to a maximum of $10.00.)

$5.00 Valet parking is also available at the main entrance, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,

New Parking Structure Open
at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital

The first completed structure in the $550-million rebuilding of Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital opened to the public in October 2006. The 632-space Pueblo Parking Structure is located at the corner of Pueblo and Castillo. Entrances to the new structure are off both Pueblo and Castillo Streets, designed to maximize ease of entry and exit.

(Complimentary valet parking at the entrance to the Emergency Department will be in effect around the clock during construction. For more information on parking and detours during construction, click here.)

Parking will be free for hospital patients and their visitors through ticket validation at numerous point-of-service locations throughout the hospital, as well as in the main lobby off Bath Street until 8:00 p.m. All others will pay $2.50 per hour up to a maximum of $10.00. Valet parking at the Bath Street entrance to the hospital is also be available to the public for $5.00, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The four-level structure features an elevator, ground-floor handicapped parking, numerous safety and security measures, and a bicycle center with showers and lockers to encourage alternative transportation for hospital staff. A coffee/deli shop at the corner of the structure on Pueblo at Castillo will open in late summer for the convenience of visitors and neighbors.

A second parking structure behind the Knapp Building at 2400 Bath Street is currently under construction. Designed for employee use only, the 532-space Knapp Parking Structure is slated to open early next summer. The existing surface-level visitor parking lot off the closed portion of Castillo Street and the current employee/physician/ volunteer parking structure between Pueblo and Junipero will remain open until the completion of the Knapp Parking Structure.
