Street Closures Announced
during Cottage Storm Culvert,
Utilities Construction

Due to the construction of new underground drainage culverts and dry utilities surrounding Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, several road closures will be required over the next few months. Pueblo Street at Calle Real (off Highway 101 North) is expected to be closed to through traffic in both directions beginning Wednesday, January 17 and reopening Monday, February 5. Detour routes from Calle Real will be available via Junipero.

Oak Park Lane from Los Olivos to Pueblo:
      Closed to through traffic (Local traffic allowed)
      through February 9

Oak Park Lane from Pueblo to Junipero
     Closed to through traffic (Local traffic allowed)
      through March 15

Junipero Street from Oak Park Lane to Energy Center
      Closed to through traffic (Local traffic allowed)
      through June 1 (Open evenings through February 19)

Detours will be clearly marked, and access to the hospital, medical office buildings, and other businesses in the area will remain open.  See map below.

Suggested routes from Highway 101 Northbound during these closures:

• Access to the Emergency Department on Junipero Street: Take Mission Street offramp, right on Mission, left on Bath Street; turn left again onto Junipero.
  Emergency Department can also be accessed from north of the Hospital via Castillo Street.
  
• Access to the Pueblo Parking Structure: Take Mission Street offramp, right on Mission, left on Castillo Street.
  
• Access to Valet Parking at main hospital entrance: Take Mission Street offramp, right on Mission, left on Bath Street.
