Neuroscience Institute Medical Staff

Santa Barbara Neuroscience Institute at Cottage Health System has a specialized team of physicians, nurses, therapists, ancillary support staff ,and administrators whose primary focus is the accurate diagnosis, effective treatment and measurable prevention of neurologically-related diseases and events.

The Stroke Team is comprised of board-certified neurologists, a neurosurgeon, a neuro critical care intensivist, senior medical residents, a stroke coordinator, and nursing department clinical managers.

Together, this team applies a multi-disciplinary approach in the treatment of patients that will enhance and optimize care.
