Ways of Giving   Donate Online

As a not-for-profit health system, it is entirely because of donations from you and your friends and neighbors that Cottage Health System is able to remain in the forefront of medical excellence for everyone in the community.

 

Tax-deductible gifts to any of Cottage Health System's foundations*  can be:

  • pledged and paid over a period of up to five years
  • structured as an outright gift of cash, securities, real property, business interests, or other
    assets, and can also be structured through a tax-exempt charitable trust, life-estate, charitable gift annuity, or other planned gift technique (learn more about planned giving options here >> )
  • recognized through naming opportunities.

Making a Gift that Provides Income

Through a life-income gift, you can make a gift to Cottage Health System and, in return, you (and / or another person) will receive annual payments of a fixed amount of money for the rest of your life. Some of the payments will be tax-free. You may realize additional tax savings when you contribute appreciated property or defer payments for more than one year.
