Externship Rotation Information

Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital offers 4-week externships in general surgery.  You must first fill out an application form and email it to the program coordinator noted at the end of this section.  DO NOT contact your school for any documentation until such time as you are actually approved for a rotation.  Once you have sent in an application, you may expect to hear back from us within 10-15 working days regarding whether or not you have been accepted for a surgery rotation.
