This course is designed to increase your interpretive skills related to an expanded classification of AV blocks. Dual chamber pacemaker timing cycles, functions and problems specific to dual chamber pacing and rate adaptive pacing will be discussed. Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) with biventricular pacing will be covered. Practice tracings are used to explain concepts presented & to facilitate learning. Please bring a caliper
Guest Speaker: Carol Jacobson, RN, MN
Carol has over 30 years experience as a critical care nurse and nurse educator. Carol is known nationally for her humorous and common-sense approach to teaching difficult topics and making them understandable. She specializes in cardiac topics such as arrhythmias, 12 lead ECG interpretation, pacemakers, cardiovascular drugs, and hemodynamic monitoring. Carol is Director of Quality Education Services, Seattle, Washingtion.
